It is with great anticipation and excitement that The Pentecostals announce the opening of Foundations Learning Center, a Christian preschool for 3 to 5 year olds. The preschool is set to open Fall 2011 and will be located inside the Family Life Center of the church. The preschool will have a morning class and afternoon class, each meeting on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Classroom environment will be lively, memorable and interactive. The preschool will follow the Marshall School District calendar.
The FLC Director is Mrs. Stratia Renfro. Stratia has a Master’s degree in Elementary Education with a Focus in Reading and also holds a Title I Reading Certification. The A Beka Curriculum will be taught as the core curriculum. (For additional information about A Beka, please visit their website at www.abekaacademy.com). Children will also have weekly music classes taught by Brittanie Donaldson. Brittanie holds a Kindermusik Teaching Certification and studied music at Indiana Bible College. Whitney Donaldson will assist Stratia as a Classroom Aide. Whitney is a current student at Indiana State University majoring in Elementary Education.
